Avocados are seasonal which means that we get them from around the world. We source our avocados from high-rainfall areas. Our beautiful uglys come primarily from our Soilmates in Kenya, Spain and Ecuador. They are pressed into a crude oil in their country of origin keeping them as light as possible for their travels to Spain. Our team of leading Oilmates there refine it and bottle it. For you. And they do this in a nice way: we found out that machinery used to produce olive oil sits idle for most part of the year. Such a waste of resources. With a very slight adjustment, olive oil production machinery can be adapted and produce avocado oil. So this is what we do. We produce avocado oil in olive oil machinery before its on its way. On its way to be welcomed into your kitchen and into your omelette.
